Precision Under Pressure. For over 30 years we have made the tools that water and gas crews rely on to get an HDPE joint right first time. You know your market; we know the joint. And we don't just supply — we help you sell, with marketing material that carries your brand.
Why Caldertech
A range your customers already trust, and a partner who does the marketing with you
One supplier, the whole joint
Over 200 products for electrofusion and butt welding: Griffon, Pegasus, Nomad and Aquafuse machines, Uniprep rotary scraping tools, Hydra Squeeze, cutting and preparation tooling, consumables and spares. Your customer does not need a second supplier to finish the job.
Made in the UK for over 30 years
Designed and manufactured in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Quality and environmental management certified to recognised standards — certificates available on request.
Joints that do not come back
Most electrofusion failures start at pipe preparation. Uniprep takes the guesswork out of scraping, and the CalderSafe® app records every joint — the traceability utilities and main contractors ask for before they award work.
Technical support and training
Your engineers get trained, not just shipped a box. Jointing training, technical guidance, calibration and repair — and we will train your customers with you.
A partner that helps you sell
Product information and technical content you can use under your own brand, plus training for your sales people and for their customers. At no cost to you.
Built to last, not to churn
We work with a small number of distributors per market and invest in them. The machine is bought once; the tooling, consumables and spares are what pay you back every year.

Who this works for
We would rather say this now than after three months of conversation.
- An established customer base in water or gas infrastructure — utilities, contractors, pipeline crews, or the merchants who supply them.
- Your own sales people who visit sites, not only a website and a phone.
- Stock holding, or a willingness to hold stock of the fast-moving tooling lines.
- Technical capability: someone who can demonstrate a scraper or a squeeze-off tool, and preferably service one.
- A complementary range — pipe, fittings, detection, safety — rather than a directly competing tooling brand.
Less likely to work
- Pure online resellers with no technical contact with the end user.
- Distributors already carrying a competing electrofusion tooling brand.
- Markets where we already have an exclusive partner — we will tell you if that is yours.

Questions we are asked
Before you apply
Do you give exclusivity?
In some markets, yes, and it is earned rather than granted at the start. We discuss it at the agreement stage once we both know what the volume looks like.
Do I have to carry the whole range?
No. Most distributors start with the tooling lines their customers ask for most and add machines later.
Do you help with marketing?
Yes, at no cost. What we ask in return is that you use what we give you, and that you tell us once a quarter what enquiries it produced.
Can I use the Caldertech name on my website?
As an authorised distributor, yes — with the mark we provide and within the brand rules we will share. What you cannot do is register domains or accounts using our name.
Do you sell direct in my market?
Tell us your market in the form and we will answer it honestly on the call. It is a fair question and it is better settled early.
